My World Kitchen showcases the food children like to cook and eat at home. From Jamaica to Scotland, India to Italy, the series discovers the rich and diverse cuisines alive in Britain.
The series is presented by children between 6 and 8, who share their individual customs and traditions as well as their common love of food. Fun and factual, these programmes make food and cooking approachable and easy. The children do all the cooking and the programmes also explore where the food comes from.
Renowned chef and broadcaster Ainsley Harriott narrates the shows. He says: “My World Kitchen is a groundbreaking cookery show for CBeebies and I’m extremely proud to be part of it. Watching young kids cook sophisticated family recipes that come from all parts of the globe is what makes this show truly unique!”
Recipes featured include:
- Algerian Borek, made by Naima
- Jerk Seabass and Avocado Salad, made by Molly
- Vegetarian Haggis, made by Connor

Each show includes how viewers can create the dish at home and there’s a full recipe available on the CBeebies website.
