Director of Production

Matt Porter’s first day in television was as a runner for The Media Merchants working on a show presented by Nic and another produced by Driana.

He now has more than 25 years’ experience structuring and managing international co-productions for some of the UK’s leading children’s producers, as well as running his own successful production services company.

As Head of Production and Head of Animation for Britt Allcroft Entertainment, Hit Entertainment, Zodiak Kids and Nevision, Matt has overseen the production of shows including Art Attack, Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends, Waybuloo, Zack and Quack and Floogals.

Joining Terrific Television in 2017 as Director of Production, Matt works alongside Nic and Driana on production planning and the management of this growing independent production company.
